What a great event: On 25th April, we hosted an evening dedicated to the circular economy and digitalization in Brensbach.
Our colleagues Vera Schwinn, Asli Hanci and Waldemar Lasar as well as CEO Jens Meyer zu Drewer had the pleasure of hosting numerous participants from various industries. One of the highlights of the event was the opportunity to give our guests a tour of tour production facilities to learn more about the production of our plastics made from grass fibres. The participants were given an insight into our circular economy and discovered how we produce plastics from the renewable raw material grass.
Two further highlights were the two presentations:
- Johannes Wowra from SPRYFOX GmbH spoke about the use of AI models in industry. He explained how these models can help to make production processes more efficient and thus reduce maintenance costs.
- Dr.-Ing. Thimo Keller from AssistIng GmbH explained how we can implement efficient, paperless and therefore sustainable processes for our production.
The event concluded with a relaxed exchange over finger food and drinks. All in all, it was an informative and inspiring event that highlighted how innovations can drive the plastics industry forward.
